On
the 8th September 2013, Jack and Finn Harries - YouTube filmmakers, along with
five other friends, Ben, Louis, Harry, Max and Will took to India to complete
the Rickshaw Run.
The
Rickshaw Run is an event where groups drive Rickshaws, other wise known as Tuk
Tuk's from one side of india to the other. It all started back in 2006 and
since then has started and ended in various different indian cities.
This
year the challenge was to complete the 3500 kilometre long adventure from
Shillong to Jaisalmer - thats approximately 2200 miles, which is an
extortionate amount in a tiny little 7 horse powered motor.
Not
only did the group complete the task but they also managed to raise a whopping
$177,496 for the charity 'Teenage Cancer Trust'.
The amazing experience was captured on devices
such as DSLRs and GoPros and has been edited into a four parted series for us
all to watch. If you'd like to watch any or all of the videos you can watch
them here at youtube.com/JacksGap.
