As we all know Christmas is just around the corner and only 6 weeks away. Already the festive ads have been hitting our television screens. John Lewis have come up with another fantastic Christmas ad that has hit the hearts of many. It tells the story of a Hare who gives his best friend Bear a Christmas he will never forget. Lily Allen covered the track 'Somewhere Only We Know' originally by Keane especially for the advert. The song has already reached number one in the iTunes chart.
Since the release of the video on 8th November, the video has already reached over 5 million views, more than last years John New Christmas ad 'The Journey' has in total to date. The ad already reportedly cost over £1million to make and produce. Not including the John Lewis Advert, below are 3 of my favourite Christmas ads that are currently on our televisions and are new to 2013.

1. Boots Christmas Advert 2013 - The story of a boy who surprises his close friends and neighbours by buying them all presents because they are all special to him and have helped him in the past.
2. M&S Christmas Advert 2013 - The Alice in Wonderland/Wizard of Oz inspired advert about a girl (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) who falls down a rabbit hole into an entirely magical world and discovers endless accessories/clothing/party wear etc. She is also met along the way by others (Helena Bonham Carter and David Gandy) who also discover hundreds of clothing items.
3. Coca Cola Christmas Commercial - The traditional Coca Cola Christmas Ad that hints the start of Christmas as soon as it hits our televisions. The holidays are coming!
