Emily Coxhead - Photographer and Graphic Designer

Emily Coxhead is a Uni student currently studying BA (Hons) Graphic Design with also a huge passion for photography, which she also has an A level in. She has always loved being creative and wants to share that passion with the world. After being told at school that she wouldn't be able to study Graphic Design at Uni, Emily proved them wrong by finishing with a A* Graphic Design GCSE. Emily has just started her third year at University and it seems as if her passion for both the creative subjects isn't stopping just yet.

When she first started Uni, Emily created her own blog ... emilycoxhead.blogspot and over the last three years has managed to photograph artists from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Nina Nesbitt, Rizzle Kicks and many more. She has also had the opportunity to photograph huge events for example 'Park Life' - Manchester where it included taking photos of artists like Dizzee Rascal and Labrinth.

Her work has been posted in Magazines such as TMRW, RWD, Acoustic, Front Magazine and La Vida. Emily's huge passion for Graphic Design has also meant that she creates her own designs for cards and jewellery etc which are all on .. www.behance.net/emilycoxhead for you to look at.

It was then in June 2013, Emily shared some very exciting news.

"I'm VERY excited to now be able to announce that as of Monday 10th June I will be living in London for about 5-6 weeks working on a project with Newton Faulkner called STUDIO ZOO.
As well as this, I will be photographing the whole thing - The highs and the lows! Showing you all the process of recording an album.
I reeeelly can't wait!!"

The album has now been completed and you can watch Newton Faulkner - Losing Ground here on YouTube. Things are continuously looking up for Emily and I would like to say that she inspired me through all the work she has produced and the people she has worked with. Emily has managed to produce so much work that I cannot write about it all in this one blog post, but you can find her work in the links below.
